"Hi Grant. No bucks on the ground yet but we’ve seen some decent bucks. Blew the stalk on a 155” 4x4 Sunday that had previously been shot high and back but was still full rut. I had Jen on a 25” forky yesterday and at 78 yds bumped one of the 7 doe with him. Also saw a nice 3x4 about 150” on Saturday afternoon but he gave us the slip. We’ve seen several other smaller bucks and did see a very good buck through the 15’s at about 2 miles away but couldn’t locate him when we got there. No details on him but a big 160+ frame and possibly mass or trash. The sun was getting to me in the spotter so couldn’t make it out clearly. Still a lot of does with no bucks so I’m not sure if the rut is close to the end or just getting going. Anyway good hunt so far and if we can just figure out how to negotiate the dense brush we might get one on the ground. Thanks again."

"Grant help me apply in the draw for an elk tag and after 4 years I drew a early archery bull tag as a nonresident. I saw bulls everyday of my hunt and had many close encounters. I ended up killing my bull at 20 yards out of a ground blind and he never knew I was there. The food and lodging was more than I was expecting. I have been on a few guided hunting trips across the west in different states and I would highly recommend hunting with Grants Guide Service.

"I met Grant through my brother when we invited him up to archery deer hunt in ND. A year later I drew AZ archery elk. I think Grant was more excited than me! He sent multiple trail camera photos of bulls all summer. That was the longest summer of my life! He even had a photo of the bull I eventually harvested! Needless to say, Grant knows his elk and does his homework. He works hard and always has a smile on his face. Even at 3:30 in the morning. "I met Grant before he was a guide at a restaurant. Being the only two groups of guys there in camo we started making small talk and exchanged phone numbers me thinking nothing would come of it. Sure enough he called me the next morning and was taking a complete stranger hunting in all these great spots that he invested much time to find! Grant goes above and beyond his duties to make sure you have a good time! I’ve been fortunate to hunt with Grant on at least a half dozen occasions and each one is better than the last. I was fortunate enough to tag out on a pope and young AZ black bear on our last outing! He is truly one of a kind and am thankful for that phone call he didn’t have to make 10 or so years ago to try and help some flatlanders try and find an elk! I will always use Grant for my AZ hunts!"
